The VRChat Page Clarity Roundtable
Not a sample. Every paragraph of a live 827 paragraph page was read in full by every seat that landed, and each flagged the ones a reader would stumble on. This is the only roundtable here whose record is a spreadsheet, and the only one whose output is a merge rule rather than a verdict.
How this runs. Both seats were told, explicitly, that you have a deliberate vocabulary that recurs across your work, coherence, noise, field, exile, body and bones, and that a rewrite must not delete that vocabulary to look plainer. Where the two seats disagree below, that instruction is usually why. Two labels were used: MURKY for a real comprehension problem, FIXABLE for a passage that is understandable but working harder than it needs to.
Every figure on this page is computed from the spreadsheet when the page is built, so it cannot drift from the record. Dashes in quoted material are rendered as commas, including in the passages quoted from your own live page.
The seats, and the one that never landed
| Seat | How it read the page | Passages flagged |
|---|---|---|
| Claude | Run blind on the raw text, with no other context. | 17 |
| ChatGPT | Read the published page directly at its own URL. | 77 |
| Gemini | Its browser tool could not load the page, and it said so rather than guessing. A third attempt was pending and never produced a file. | 0 |
Two seats, not three, and they did not flag at the same rate. One seat produced 77 flags and the other 17, on the same document, under the same instruction. That is a fact about how differently two systems set the bar for confusing, not a measurement of how confusing the page is, and it is the reason a count on this page is a count of flags rather than a score. The builder was written to tolerate one, two or three seats, which is why the missing seat did not stop the pass.
The output is a merge rule, not a judgment
Where both seats flagged the same passage, the rewrite that keeps your own vocabulary wins. Where a rewrite would strip that vocabulary to look plainer, the original stands. One rewrite was discarded outright because the suggested text did not correspond to the passage it claimed to be rewriting. Two items were ruled factual rather than stylistic and held back for your confirmation instead of being silently changed. Nothing in this sheet was applied to the live page by the roundtable itself. It is review material for you to decide against.
The 9 passages both seats flagged independently are the strongest signal in the set, and several of them are also where the two seats want different things. Both are shown below, side by side, rather than merged.
Every flagged passage, in page order
The passage as written, then each seat that flagged it with its suggested rewrite and its reason. A passage appearing with two seat blocks is one both seats found on their own.
The VRChat videos, and who they landed on
A review of three videos published on 14 August 2026, and of the at least 285 people named in them, and climbing as human review finds more. Every claim below links to where it came from.

“and climbing as human review finds more” is stranded at the end of a long list, so it’s unclear whether it modifies the count of 285 people or the review process itself.

“And climbing” grammatically attaches to the people rather than clearly to the count.

The comments carry no threats and no attempts to identify anyone. Across 3,151 comments on the three core videos, pulled 26 August 2026, the only call to coordinate is aimed at the app stores rather than at a person, and this covers YouTube only, not Discord or direct messages, which is where coordination of this kind actually happens. One sentence carries a statistic, a scope limitation, and a caveat about where coordination actually happens, ending in a relative clause (“which is where…”) whose antecedent (Discord and DMs, plural) doesn’t match its singular verb “is.”

The finding, its sole exception, and the limits of the dataset all compete inside one long sentence.

1b · A dispute that predates this cluster by ten months
Multiple people in the official VRChat Discord independently confirmed, the day after this cluster’s release, that Fusl and Fuzl are different people, including a badged VRChat Community Tester: “fusl is my best friend. fuzl is not fusl.” Another wrote “#fuzl-is-not-fusl.” This is corroboration from people with no stated stake in either creator’s story, not just one side’s own account. (Sourced to a read-only search of the official VRChat Discord server, 15 August 2026. Discord has no public permalink for individual messages, so that part cannot be linked.) There is now a public source as well. On r/VRchat, a thread carrying 115 votes and 70 comments was posted by a creator who says he interviewed both parties: “I interviewed both of them yesterday and have provided factual evidence to dispute all their circumstantial evidence. Brandon and their team are not backing down from this claim. Fuzl does not deserve this harassment.” He adds that someone who says they are a close friend of Fuzl tried to reach the maker and that nobody would talk.

The Discord corroboration, sourcing limitation, Reddit corroboration, and follow-up claim are nested together, making the evidence chain harder to follow than it needs to be.
2 · Who is involved
There is a real threshold underneath this pattern. YouTube pays a channel only after it clears 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in twelve months, or ten million Shorts views in ninety days. Below that line, a video earns nothing regardless of how it performs. Once boundary-violating content starts producing the numbers that clear it, the incentive is not to stop, it is to make more of what worked and scale it. A disclaimer added to a description supplies the appearance of care without changing that incentive. The line “do not seek out or harass anybody in this video” appears, in one wording or another, on most of this catalogue, old and new alike, present the whole time monetization was building, not adopted once it arrived. The violation is not in the wording of a description field. It is that publishing identifiable footage of real people, however it is captioned, puts them in reach of an audience that will act on it, at a scale that pays.

5 · What to do, depending on who you are
You run a group and your members are affected. Open one channel specifically for this, separate from your regular chat, so questions have somewhere to go instead of scattering and filling the gaps with guesses. Say plainly what you know and don’t know; don’t promise more than you can actually deliver. Set up a real escalation path to trusted leadership, not just your own inbox: a small circle of people worried members can go to privately, with somewhere further to escalate if that’s not enough. Routing everything through one person burns them out, and the whole system collapses the moment that person is unavailable. Do not compile or share a list of who else appears. That becomes exactly the harm this page is about.

If this does name you, or accuse you of something: that does not resolve the problems with how it was made. Five hundred days of deception and a private coordination archive are real problems on their own, and so is what a method like this licenses going forward, for the community and for you, separate from whether any specific claim about you turns out to be true.

“Hundreds of separate requests … is not” creates a subject-verb mismatch at the sentence’s point of emphasis.

Feigned transparency as its own trust-building tool. Stating outright, on camera, that lying and deception was the method reads as candor to a viewer. It is not candor toward the people it happened to, none of them consented, and most still don’t know. It builds the audience’s trust while describing, without disputing, the deception of hundreds of real people.

The relative clause “whose usernames are legible or recoverable” is separated from its antecedent (“285 distinct people”) by an inserted clause, forcing a re-read to connect them.

A real conversation about children on this platform was possible, and it still is. It needs the things this release deliberately did without: telling people they are being recorded, giving subjects a right of reply, someone with the standing to say that is too far, and not turning roughly two hundred uninvolved people into the ground the argument gets fought over.

“Someone with the standing to say that is too far” buries both the actor and what they have authority to stop.

They are returning what was delivered to them. Not inventing it. They did not find their place here, and what is being done to everyone watching mirrors how that felt: violated, not invited, harmed by a place that was supposed to be for them. The scrambling of your head and your heart while you watch is not a side effect. It is an accurate transmission of an injury.
ClaudeMURKY
What is actually being transmitted. The reading offered here, explained further below, is that the makers are returning an injury done to them rather than inventing a new one. If they themselves never felt they belonged here, then what is being done to everyone watching mirrors that: violated, not invited, harmed by a place that was supposed to be for them. The scrambling of your head and your heart while you watch is not a side effect. It is an accurate transmission of an injury.
“They,” “what was delivered to them,” and “did not find their place here” have no established referent yet; the paragraph asserts a claim about the makers’ own history before that history (a childhood harm, raised two paragraphs later) has been introduced.

They did not find their place here, and the videos reproduce that experience for the people watching: violation instead of invitation, harm from a place that was supposed to hold them. What we are after is coherence. Coherence is the signal in the field between nervous systems, and noise is whatever garbles it. It is not something you can impose or perform. It emerges: a body drops into it and stacks itself, breathes deeper, sees wider, and other bodies nearby read the safety and settle. You already know it from the rooms where you relaxed without deciding to. Noise is the opposite, the static that leaves everyone braced and unable to hear each other, which is exactly the state this release has produced across the platform.

“the two tools the platform gives you to protect yourself” is never identified; only one tool (unfriending) is named anywhere in this row.
Why “they are not accused of anything” does not settle it
An absence of allegation reads as mitigating. For this population it is close to irrelevant, and in one respect it makes things worse.
ChatGPTFIXABLE
Not being accused may initially sound as though it reduces the harm. For this population it is close to irrelevant, and in one respect it makes things worse.
“Reads as mitigating” uses legal shorthand before saying what supposedly becomes less serious.

New entrants stop being absorbed because vouching becomes expensive and every unknown newcomer can now be treated as another possible infiltrator.
“Every unknown newcomer now carries the shape of the last one” is a metaphor that never resolves into the suspicion being described.

Reaching the inner circle of an invite-only group by spending eighteen months earning a place in it is not a privacy incident. It is a trust event, and trust events do not resolve by being explained.

Reaching the inner circle of an invite-only group by spending eighteen months earning a place in it is not only a privacy incident. It is a trust event: ordinary relationship-building itself became the route of access. Explaining what happened does not restore that trust.
“Trust event” is introduced as a category without explaining what makes it different from a privacy incident.
Why Adventure Team does not simply recover from this
The suspicion generalises to people who did nothing. The natural response to discovering one is to reconsider everyone who joined during those eighteen months, and that lands hardest on whoever is newest, quietest, or most marginal.

Positive, negative, mixed, and neither are percentages without an explicit object of the sentiment.

The method matters here, because the obvious version of this scan is wrong. A plain substring search for the watch terms returns three apparent hits that are all the word truth . Matching on word boundaries returns zero. Any figure of this kind that does not say which of the two it used should not be trusted.

The method matters here because a simple version of this scan gives the wrong answer. Plain substring matching produced three false matches inside the word truth. Matching only whole words produced zero. Any figure of this kind that does not say which method it used should not be trusted.
It says substring matching falsely found “truth” without explaining the false-match mechanism clearly enough to follow.
How to read the confidence ratings
Ratings are applied in the two evidence sections below. Everything outside them is argument, and is not rated. This is a review of publicly available material, and it is written so that any reader can check it. Where a link is given, the link is the evidence.

Ratings are applied in the two evidence sections below, each item labelled VERIFIED, ON RECORD, REASONED, UNCONFIRMED or CONTEXT WITHHELD depending on how directly the evidence supports the claim. Introduces a “confidence ratings” system (VERIFIED, ON RECORD, REASONED, UNCONFIRMED, CONTEXT WITHHELD, used throughout later sections) without ever defining what distinguishes the tiers; the reader has to infer the meaning of each from context, case by case.

How it was closed
The manner of the closure is the part with the clearest bearing on trust, and it is separable from the decision itself. By the moderator’s account: after raising the underdelivery directly with staff, they were told that upper management were considering abandoning the project, and that if they did, they would likely withdraw and hand the server over to be run as a community space. Three days of silence followed. They were then pinged five minutes before the announcement went out, and before they could reply the closure was announced to everyone, their moderator role was removed without acknowledgement, and the server’s contents were deleted. No further contact followed. Members had no window in which to find each other or move anywhere else.

The manner of the closure is the part with the clearest bearing on trust, and it is separate from the decision to close. By the moderator’s account, after they raised the lack of support directly with staff, they were told upper management was considering abandoning the project. If that happened, staff were likely to withdraw and hand the server to the moderator to run as a community space. Three days of silence followed.
The proposed handoff, upper-management decision, possible withdrawal, and three days of silence are nested into one long chronological sentence.

What the comments actually contain
An earlier version of this page said no mob behaviour was visible in the comments. That is not a category anyone reports against and it did not tell you what had been looked for, so the corpus was re-read against the categories a platform safety team uses. Machine rules matched first, deliberately over-matching, and then every match was read individually. The reading is what changes the answer.
ChatGPTMURKY
An earlier version of this page said no mob behaviour was visible in the comments. That category was too vague to show what had actually been tested, so the corpus was re-read using categories a platform safety team would use. Machine rules deliberately over-matched first, then every candidate was read individually. Only the human-confirmed matches are treated as findings below.
“That is not a category anyone reports against” and “the reading is what changes the answer” leave the revised method unnecessarily abstract.

“The two are reported separately below” has no antecedent in this paragraph; it appears to point back to a “matched” versus “survived reading” distinction from a table several sections earlier, but nothing here restates that link.
What was searched for, and what was found
Finding people offline: 15 candidates, 0 real. Every one is the word privacy used to criticise the videos, or an ordinary use of “in real life”. The most-liked: “ going after innocent people like Fuzl and then refusing to address it when you’re aware that you made a mistake is inhumane. ”

The paragraph says an offline-location search returned “privacy” without explaining why those ordinary uses became candidates.

Describes “the other four” of the same five coordination-search candidates as people “accusing each other of brigading,” while paragraph 607 describes those same four as commenters criticizing the makers for reporting a subject of the videos. The two descriptions of the same four comments don’t match, so it’s unclear which is accurate.
Bystanders, and why they are not listed here
At least 285 people are identifiable, a number still climbing as human review continues, substantially the creator class of this platform, not incidental bystanders . A name-by-name compilation across all three videos is ongoing. As of 17 August 2026 it has found at least 168 in the first video, 132 in the second, and 3 in the third, with 16 appearing in more than one. Each new human review pass finds names automated scanning missed, so this floor keeps rising and is not a final count. 285 is only the number that has been individually named and logged so far. The assessment behind this page, based on how consistently new names have turned up in nearly every scene checked, is that the true total is likely in the many hundreds. They surface four different ways: as nameplates floating over avatars in the background of shots focused on someone else, as entries in friend and member lists, as members of the 135 groups shown in one sequence, and in one case as a full Discord profile card. That figure is a floor: it counts only handles legible enough to survive automated reading at two frames per second. The last group is illegible at playback size but cleanly recoverable by upscaling and optical character recognition, which is the relevant threat model rather than what a casual viewer can read. They are not public figures, are not accused of anything, and appear because they were present in rooms that were being recorded.

One paragraph carries the headline count, the counting method, the four ways names surface, the floor caveat, and the OCR threat model all at once, so distinct facts blur together.
Moderation practice
Every failure alleged here is the same failure repeated: a report-driven system with no proactive duty, applied to people the moderators know socially. The mechanic worth studying is the stated position that presence at a rule-breaking event carries no consequence, only reported content does. That is a policy, not an oversight, and it is now on the record.

The quoted analysis is followed by five compressed labels that are never translated for a general reader.

The underrated risks, three distinct ones, all credible
Weaponisation of the platform’s own reporting system. “Knowing that governance is under public scrutiny for failing to act, bad actors will flood official reporting channels with coordinated fabricated reports against the exposed creators.” A platform under pressure to look responsive is a platform likely to action reports it would previously have dismissed, against precisely the people with the least ability to contest them.

“Action reports” turns a noun into a verb and slows an otherwise direct sentence.

Remediation as the harm. The obvious institutional fix, mandatory age assurance, identity verification, biometric age estimation, would detonate the second layer. “VRChat’s user base is disproportionately people for whom pseudonymity is protective: LGBTQ+ and trans users, disabled users, closeted users, users in hostile jurisdictions, and the minors the intervention is nominally for. A regulator-driven or panic-driven ID requirement would do more measurable harm to more people than the conduct being remedied, and it would be reported as the platform finally taking safety seriously.”

Remediation as the harm. The obvious institutional fix, mandatory age assurance, identity verification, or biometric age estimation, could itself harm the creator and user layer. “VRChat’s user base is disproportionately people for whom pseudonymity is protective: LGBTQ+ and trans users, disabled users, closeted users, users in hostile jurisdictions, and the minors the intervention is nominally for. “Detonate the second layer” relies on a distant earlier distinction rather than naming who the proposed remedy could harm.

Why wave one being the safest content is the warning, not the reassurance

“Moved under 1%” does not say whether the adjacent videos rose, fell, or simply changed by less than one percent.
Why wave one being the safest content is the warning, not the reassurance
Assembling an audience before releasing contested material is correct sequencing for a campaign rather than a one-off. Strong numbers on the safest content therefore make later, more personal waves more likely, not less. This inverts the intuitive read, and it is the single most important thing on this page for anyone deciding whether to relax.

The severe version: an age rating is typically a self-declaration made by questionnaire, not an audit outcome. A written internal statement that unreported adult content produces no enforcement is evidence that the declaration does not describe operating reality. That can be acted on by a single storefront compliance officer, on a weeks timescale, with no lawsuit, no journalist and no view count, and it is not answerable by criticising the makers, because the evidence is the platform’s own document. A forced reclassification would remove the under-18 cohort entirely.

A written internal statement that unreported adult content produces no enforcement is evidence that the declaration may not describe operating reality. That accused person had, weeks earlier, posted about mole-hunt suspicion with a straightforward joke rather than anxious denial, something like “happy not to worry about moles, I hear they really tear up the garden.” That post is worth naming on its own terms: staying playful under suspicion, refusing the shame a mole-hunt tries to assign, without either dodging the topic or getting pulled into a defensive spiral. It is a genuinely healthy response to the exact dynamic described above, and it did not stop the dynamic from reaching her anyway.

One person later targeted by the mole-hunt suspicion had, weeks earlier, posted about that kind of suspicion with a straightforward joke rather than anxious denial, something like “happy not to worry about moles, I hear they really tear up the garden.” That post is worth naming on its own terms: staying playful under suspicion and refusing the shame a mole hunt tries to assign, without dodging the topic or getting pulled into a defensive spiral.
“That accused person” appears before any specific accused person has been introduced in the sequence.

Why this is the pattern the page warns about, not a private quarrel. No evidence of employment, payment or direction was offered at any point. What was offered was a screenshot showing a name on a board and a month-old joke about moles. On that basis a person with no role in the story beyond a friendship was described to nine communities as an agent of the people who made the videos. This is what a mole hunt does when it runs out of people who actually had access: it reaches along ordinary social graphs, and it lands on whoever is easiest to isolate.

“Ordinary social graphs” uses network-analysis jargon for ordinary relationships.

There is a third step, and it is a claim that it worked. Eight days before this was written, the same account posted publicly: “For posterity. Uprooted one Brandon FM and Satori/Jumper’s little trolls still in VRChat.” That is not an allegation. It describes an outcome, in the past tense, offered as a result. The sequence is therefore complete and visible in public: an accusation, a broadcast of it to the communities that could act on it, and then a statement that someone was removed. Found on a Bluesky search on 26 August 2026. The post text and date are recorded as read; no permalink was captured, and nothing beyond the quoted words is inferred.

There is a third step, and it is a claim that it worked. On 18 August 2026, the same account posted publicly: “For posterity. Uprooted one Brandon FM and Satori/Jumper’s little trolls still in VRChat.” That is not an allegation. It describes an outcome in the past tense, offered as a result. The sequence is therefore complete and visible in public: an accusation, a broadcast to communities able to act on it, and then a statement that someone was removed.
“Eight days before this was written” is unstable on a living document.
Community leaders
Online: create a private intake for allegations and make it a hard rule they do not go in public channels. Audit who has history-visible access to sensitive spaces; access granted years ago is access today. Tell members plainly what was and was not published, because that prevents panic. Do not run a mole hunt, “only a few people had access” is a fact about your knowledge, not about them, and it lands hardest on whoever is already most marginal.

“History-visible access” is undefined platform shorthand.
Moderators
Online: moderate behaviour, not viewpoint. Both “the platform failed” and “the filmmakers acted unethically” are permissible. Identity dossiers, mass contact and raids are not. Do not change your retention settings now, in either direction, tightening during a controversy is indistinguishable from the footage in the video even when the motive is innocent.

Do not change retention settings now, either to keep more material or to delete it sooner. Either change can look like deliberate evidence handling during a controversy even when the motive is innocent.
The paragraph says retention settings should not change “in either direction,” but explains only one direction.
Creators and influencers
In VR: do not record in the named spaces to “verify for yourself”. That is how the next exposed bystander is created and how you become the story instead of covering it. Verify the documents, which requires no travel.

“Requires no travel” is odd inside an “In VR” instruction and can sound like literal physical travel.
Cross-model assessment: how it was run, and what was corrected
How each was set up. ChatGPT was used in a temporary chat, so nothing it had been told before could influence the answer. Gemini was given the summary in a fresh conversation. Claude was given the summary and nothing else. The point of using three unrelated systems is simple: if all three reach the same conclusion from the same evidence without conferring, that agreement is worth something. If they disagree, the disagreement is reported too, and it is, further down.

“The disagreement is reported too, and it is, further down” is syntactically tangled.
Cross-model assessment: how it was run, and what was corrected
The reporting chain was missing. The first brief listed the enforcement-gap post and the confrontation, but omitted that formal reports were filed through the company’s own website with recordings attached, that the manager was informed, and that the documented outcome was nothing across three separate subjects. That is the strongest single element and its absence caused every seat to underweight the material.

“The documented outcome was nothing across three separate subjects” is compressed enough to obscure what did not happen.
Cross-model assessment: how it was run, and what was corrected
How it was run. A single written summary was saved to a file and pasted into each system word for word, so none of them received a different version. No other AI tool was involved in producing this review, and none of them wrote any of the findings text on this page. Three unrelated systems answered separately and none of them saw another’s reply. ChatGPT in a temporary chat so stored history could not influence it; a Claude instance given the brief and nothing else. Each was told to answer the community question before the corporate one, to evaluate evidence rather than people, and to give explicit probabilities without hedging.

The paragraph says three systems were run but the setup summary names ChatGPT and Claude while leaving Gemini out.
What is not covered
Comment replies were captured after all. Comment replies were captured, and an earlier version of this page said they were not. The archive holds 3,151 comments on the three core videos, 1,705 of them replies. The remaining blind spots are real and are elsewhere: the two removed UrghBla videos took their comment sections with them, the capture window closes on 17 August, and nothing here observes Discord servers or direct messages, which is where coordination of this kind actually happens.

The opening two sentences repeat the same correction before reaching the useful count and remaining blind spots.
Where the rest of this lives
The spreadsheet is vrc_analytics_v2/review/VRChat_Page_Clarity_Roundtable.xlsx, one row per passage and seat, with each seat colour coded so they stay easy to tell apart while reading down the sheet. The two rewritten documents beside it are VRChat_Page_Rewritten_For_Clarity.docx and VRChat_Page_Plain_Language_Final.docx. This roundtable fed the live review page rather than getting a page of its own, until this one.
