Ruth has spoken at AWE (Augmented World Expo), Voices of VR, and Horizon Creator Community events on topics including social presence, trust design, and community resilience in virtual environments.

Writing

Ruth writes about leadership, conflict, and the ethics of community design — across platforms and formats, from long-form essays to field notes shared with the BridgeMakers community.

The DOT Model

The DOT Model is a framework Ruth developed for understanding how people move through Disruption, Orientation, and Transformation. It shows up in her consulting work, her writing, and her facilitation practice.

BridgeMakers & Figure It In LLC

Ruth is the founder of BridgeMakers, a leadership cooperative hosting events across social VR, video, and wherever people gather for hard conversations. She also runs Figure It In LLC, through which she consults with leaders and organizations moving through conflict and trust strain.
